Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 June 2026
This policy sets out the personal data this site collects, why, how long it is kept and the rights you hold under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. It covers only kinghillss.net, an independent information site about Kinghills Casino, and not the gambling platform itself. We are not an operator: no player account is managed here, and no deposit or withdrawal is processed.
Who We Are
This site publishes reviews of Kinghills and other online casinos UK players can reach. Our business model and independence are described on the about page and in our affiliate disclosure. We deliberately limit data processing to what the editorial work needs. For any data-protection question, use our contact page.
Data We Collect
Data you give us
When you write to us through the contact form, we receive the name you choose to give, your email address, the subject and content of the message and any attachments. We never ask for a card number, Kinghills account credentials or identity documents: those belong solely to your relationship with the operator.
Data collected automatically
On each page, our hosting and measurement tools record your IP address (truncated before any statistical processing), your user agent, the pages visited, the timestamp, the referring URL and an approximate location inferred from the IP. An affiliate click identifier is passed to the partner network for attribution only — a process described in our cookie policy.
Purposes and Legal Bases
| Purpose | Legal basis (UK GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Replying to your contact request | Consent / legitimate interest |
| Aggregated, anonymised audience measurement | Legitimate interest |
| Affiliate link attribution | Legitimate interest |
| Security and abuse prevention | Legitimate interest |
We build no advertising profile, run no behavioural retargeting and sell no personal data.
Retention and Your Rights
Contact messages are kept for twelve months after the last exchange. Server access logs are kept for ninety days. Aggregated audience statistics are kept for up to twenty-six months. After those periods, data is deleted or permanently anonymised.
The UK GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. To exercise them, use our contact page with "Privacy" in the subject; we reply within thirty days after verifying your identity. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your rights have been ignored. Our update principles mirror those in our editorial policy.
Responsible Gaming and Minors
We never knowingly collect data about anyone under 18: this site is for adults. If you believe a minor in your household has reached gambling-related content, see the responsible gaming page for the tools available.
